SSC Stenographer 2023 Exam Pattern
Two tiers of the SSC Stenographer 2023 Exam will be offered. The Grade C and D exam, which is the first level, consists of MCQs and is delivered online. After this exam, SSC will administer another exam to evaluate your skill sets across a variety of domains.

b) Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice. Questions will be set in Hindi and English except for Part III.
Each incorrect response will receive a negative marking of one third of a mark. Therefore, it is important that candidates consider this as they respond to the question.

c) Skill Test in Stenography
The Commission may decide to summon candidates for the skill test if they get the minimum qualifying marks in the examination. Additionally, the commission has the authority to set minimum requirements for each Exam component. The Commission shall set the requirements for passing the Skill Test for the various categories of candidates. The Skill Test will be of a qualifying type.
The candidates must show up for the stenography skill test. For the position of stenographer grade “C,” candidates will be given one 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) and 80 w.p.m. for the position of stenographer grade “D.” Computer transcription of the situation is required.
