Nationality
To be eligible for the RSMSSB Stenographer Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- (a) Be a citizen of India, or
- (b) Be a subject of Nepal, or
- (c) Be a subject of Bhutan, or
- (d) Be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 for permanent settlement in India, or
- (e) an individual of Indian origin who has relocated from Pakistan, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Burma, the East African nations of Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanzania and Zanzibar), Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, and Ethiopia with the intention of permanent settlement in India, provided they have transferred to India.
Note: Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must submit the required certificate of eligibility issued by the Home and Justice Department of the Government of India.
Age Limit & Relaxation

Educational Qualification

- Completed Senior Secondary education or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
AND
Possess one of the following qualifications:
Completed the “O” Level or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under the supervision of the Department of Electronics, Government of India.
OR
Certificate course on computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi.
OR
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate organized under the National/State Council for Vocational Training Scheme.
OR
Possess a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Application from a university established by law in India or from an institution officially recognized by the Government.
OR
Obtained a Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the country, with Computer Science or Computer Application included as one of the subjects.
OR
Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government.
OR
The Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) administered by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University in Kota, operating under the auspices of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.
OR
Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government.
- Proficiency in writing Hindi in Devanagari Script.
- Familiarity with the cultural aspects of Rajasthan.
RSMSSB Stenographer 2024 Selection Process
There are three steps in the multi-stage RSMSSB Stenographer & PA Recruitment 2024 process. The final merit list may include applicants who have advanced through each level of the selection process. The recruitment cycle’s several phases consist of the following:

The RSMSSB Stenographer’s monthly salary is INR 34,000 to INR 38,709, which includes INR 3,600 as grade pay. The 7th Pay Commission’s pay scale matrix level 10 serves as the foundation for stenographer salaries in the Rajasthani government. Officers’ entire remuneration package is enhanced by additional benefits and allowances, which they are entitled to in addition to their basic income.
