IB Security Assistant & MTS Syllabus 2023 for Tier 2

Candidates who pass the Tier 1 exam will be required to take the Tier 2 exam, which is divided into two parts.

  • Part 1 (Common to all candidates): Translate a 500-word passage from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This offline descriptive test will be worth 40 points and will last one hour.
  • Part 2 (Only for SA/Executives)- Spoken ability [to be assessed during Tier III exam (Interview/ Personality test)]
  • The Tier II exam is a qualifying exam. Tier-2 qualifying marks for SA/Exe are 20 out of 50 and 16 out of 40 for MTS/Gen.
